HOT NEWS ABOUT SICK PEOPLE

This morning Carmen Sabatino found two dead cats covered with flowers in front of the Mediterranian Market and Grill. This appears to be an effort by a group of very sick pathetic people to intimidate our former Mayor of Modesto. The people who run Modesto tried unsuccessfully to destroy Carmen in court, and failed miserably. Carmen is apparently causing much concern with these people. His radio show is exposing these people to be corrupt, inept, and terrible managers of our local finances. The people of Modesto are so fortunate to have a person like Carmen Sabatino telling the truth about what is actually going on. How low will these scum bags go to protect their "House of Cards?" The Sabatino Report

The Stanislaus County Democratic Central Committee declared state of emergency to endorse Measure M.

They argue that they did not violate their by-laws in order to endorse the change in the cities constitution.

The changes were proposed by land-use attoney George Petrulakis.  The charter has been changed.  It can be changed again.

Petrulakis guides political machine to a win on Measure M.  How did he do it?  How much money did he need to raise?  What are the consequences?

LET'S ALL SUBSIDIZE THE DEVELOPERS, THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT

Our Modesto City Council once again has caved in to the wishes of Mike Zagaris and other developers that are planning a new development named Tivoli. The City Council has eliminated the need for the Zagaris group to purchase protective easements on other comparable acres of farmland. The easements were planned to protect farmland against future development. Without such protection, it is probable that the developers will build on our farmland until it is all used up.

It is pathetic how our elected officials consistently follow the wishes of the developers, who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars making sure that " Their Politicians" are elected. Watch how the developers will cry for further reductions in development fees, as their industry tail spins in it's worst slow down in over fifty years. Watch how the taxpayers of Modesto are being forced to subsidize the developers. Tivoli will once again cost all Modestan's just as Village One cost  all Modestan's. It is ludicrous for new houses to be built when so many houses stand empty and foreclosed.      Tux

To Tom Van Gronigen:

Have you found the transportation tax measure that was developed during the visioning process and advocated by Mayor Sabatino.  You were paid thousands of dollars for that body of work.  Where is it?  Why has it not been part of the present discussion on a transportation tax?

Let’s think about our past, our present, and our future

Measure M may be challenged before the first paychecks are issued to the Council.  With more information being revealed, the Measure could eventually be repealed. 

When will Paul Van Konynrnburg and Bill Bassitt open the books to the Alliance?  When they are forced to!!

Complaint against the Chamber of Commerce is to be filed with Fair Political Practices Commission.

The Bee continues to characterize sales tax as “one half-cent”.  Would it not be correct to say “one half-percent” increase?

Has anyone asked who will control the money should a sales tax pass?  Not another commission as outlined in Measure M!!

The City of Ceres will eventually pay a “one-percent” increase in sales tax.
