Well the voters have finally spoken in several areas during the elections.  In most instances, sanity prevailed.  The electorate have finally made their position known regarding the exploitation, underhanded and dirty self-serving deals, perpetrated by wealthy, influential and often crooked members of the legal, developer, real estate and political bodies within our community. It is our hope that the local election results, will be the beginning of a movement to oust the other dregs of an honest society from political offices they hold and use to pad their bank accounts at the taxpayers expense.   The big wigs supporting Measure K, Janice Keating and Pat Paul can all crawl back under the rock owned by their developer friends, and hopefully into obscurity.  I believe that many of the well meaning supporters of K were mis-guided and lied to by those who were going to profit the most and be the real BENEFACTORS had K passed. Self serving Janice Keating.  There is no doubt that she had her eyes on something bigger well before the election.  She must have been mentored by Pat Paul.  Paul, too, started on the Oakdale City Council using it as a springboard to the board of stupidvisors.  Her record of taking all kinds of gifts and gratuities from those wishing to profit at the public’s expense, are well documented by newspaper and public records.  Once Keating announced her decision to run for the bored, whoops, I mean board, she should have resigned her council seat for a minimum of two reasons.  One being, that she was not able to run an effective campaign, thank goodness, on a shared time basis.  The second one is that she could not fully fulfill the responsibility she swore to perform to the citizens of Modesto with her attention going toward “Pauling” up to the bored, (board).  Mercifully, just enough of us voters saw through her veil of deception, much like Paul’s.  I firmly believe that Dick Monteith will be a fresh face on the board with the taxpayer’s interests in mind.  Congratulations on your victory Dick.  You may not be able to do it alone but you can be a voice of the people. Loser Pat Paul.  Not enough can be said for the under handed and dirty political climate that surrounds the dubious tenure of her service (Or should it be said “servicing” of the taxpayers) of Oakdale and Stanislaugh County.   Her nefarious conduct was again shown by her lies and omissions while trying to rise from the ashes of being burned down by the voters of Stanislaus County, who booted her off the board for her mis-deeds.  From her lying about being endorsed by the Oakdale Fire Department association, to her omitting the rebuke by the voters that ran her off the board, her political power grabbing mentality again surfaced during this election.   The voters in Oakdale sent her a strong message: GET LOST:” We are tired of your conniving ways. “Hip pocket Paul” can now go get cozy with developer Panoz and take all of the gifts and free airplane rides she wants from him.  He might even give her a nice place in Diablo Grande for all of her losing efforts in the developer’s behalf. Farrell Jackson is a real champion of his constituents and will be looking out for the best interests of Oakdale’s citizens.  Congratulations Farrell! Well it took the state bar to finally do something about “Heck no, I won’t testify” McGruff.  Whoops again!!  I mean McGrath. McGruff is a crime prevention dog, not a crime committing dog.  As I said in a prior posts, anyone that takes the Fifth Amendment to avoid being placed under oath and testifying, is a CRIMINAL and should be treated as such. Brown from Sonora should also be facing disbarment by the state along with mcGruff. All of the citizens of our fine county need to look back at all of those who refused to be sworn and testify through any means they could during Carmen’s inquisition, and remember them. Be they stupidvisor, real estate mogul, attorney or anyone, you should no longer conduct any business with those that have something to hide.  They are crooks and you might be next on their “To Screw” list.  They will use you, abuse you and then want to lose you so be forewarned.  Any member of the community that wants to become involved in a measure that would insure that any type of tax increase would benefit the residents of this county, should form a committee to begin developing, (Whoops again. Developer is a four letter word in this county) let’s make that drafting ideas.  Then maybe we could all get behind some way to improve our atrocious and outdated traffic system and roads. God bless our brave troops that are fighting to allow me to have the freedom to write my opinions here and to allow us to vote out those that would abuse the very things our troops are fighting for.  Honest government. And finally, God bless America, the greatest country on earth.  If you don’t agree with that, do the rest of us patriots a favor, and catch the next plane to some other country.
