George and council, the audio was so bad last night that I think you purposely kept the volume down. Why do I believe that? Because the city clerk increased the volume for the brown berets. In addition, the County Supervisors do not have a volume or buzzy problem – why do you? I have received calls and e-mails that people watching at home could not understand the words being said due to fuzzy and buzzy audio. In addition, they could not read the last several sentences on documents on the screen. That too, must be on purpose. We know that you do not want us to attend or contribute. We know that you are dancing to the tune of the city manager. Why else would you give 20% and higher raises to staff? You are buying votes from a large voting block. It is that simple. When was the last time you voted a staff resolution down? I know that asking you to reverse your policy on lousy audio is pointless. This misbehavior will not go unnoticed when some of you run for re-election. Dave
