Agenda items # 27 and #28 on Tuesday’s Council meeting purport be responsive to the requests of two Citizens regarding the gigantic failure of the City to provide adequate, professional and competent administrative management of the Modesto airport.

            These items, as they appear on the agenda, have no staff report attached, no Council comments, and no facts that address the letters of the two very concerned Citizens.  It would appear that the city council is not willing to allow any relief to the communicants involved.  It is a common courtesy that a government would tell these two concerned Citizens what the city staff is going to discuss relative to their inquiries, PRIOR to the meeting. 

            I respectfully require you to e-mail or otherwise communicate to each individual requesting information on items # 27 and #28, prior to 11:00 AM PDT, Tuesday, 25 Sep 07, the information they requested.  If the city satisfies the communicant’s inquiry, no more council time may be needed.  Courtesy towards Citizen’s requests is a salient failure of this council.  I trust that you will cure this deficiency in this matter, immediately.
