City of Modesto ignores Sabatino District Elections

The City's failure to respond results in another law suit

Rather than consider the Sabatino District Election proposal the City voted to spend $2 million attempting to defeat district elections and they spent taxpayer money to confuse the electorate on Charter changes.

Former Mayor Carmen Sabatino files Complaint for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief from the illegal acts of the Council.

Sabatino contends that the City violated California Government Code Section 8314 by using public resources to support their position in an upcoming election, or for other purposes which are not authorized by law.

The claim will be fully discussed Tuesday on the Morning Mayor Show on KMPH 840 AM at 10.
