Ex-sheriff Weidman to run for Mayfield seat on the Board of Supervisors
Weidman’s retirement payment amounts to 90% of his salary when he retired from his elected position as Sheriff of Stanislaus County. He quit as the “warrior” who was waging the local war on meth to take a public relations job in Sacramento. A short time later he quits that job or was allowed to resign?
Weidman now says he has “had the time to step back and recharge my batteries, I have the time, energy, and experience to make a difference.”
The ex-sheriff wants to return to the retirement trough, but in so doing he is returning to the scene of the crime
