CITY HALL GIVES ME A HEADACHE

The Modesto Bee has reported that Mayor Ridenour is in favor of making all residents of Modesto pay for city services that will be necessary to serve the new planned development named Tivoli. Tivoli is a development that is being done by Mike Zagaris.

Why should anyone be forced to subsidize a private housing development? Mike Zagaris is a very rich man, and apparently will get much richer at taxpayer expense if Mayor Ridenour gets his wish. The best interests of the taxpayers will probably take a back seat to the big money influence that Mike Zagaris holds over our local government.

It is time for the taxpayers to call up city hall and tell our Mayor that Mike Zagaris should be responsible for the city services that his development requires. We need honest responsible leadership in Modesto, but sadly it has been lacking for quite some time.            Tux
