Good Morning Modesto Mayor Jim Ridenour slaps former Mayor with a “SLAPP” suit Former Mayor, Carmen Sabatino, asked the Court to stop the City from spending tax dollars on political campaigns. No money was involved. Mayor Ridenour could simply have replied to the suit by stating that the City would not use tax dollars to assist political campaigns.
