BEE EDITORS HIT CAMPAIGN TRAIL FOR MEASURE K

Bee editor, Mark Vasche, took the front page of our community newspaper to repeat the deceptive provisions of Measure K.  Opinion editor, Judy Sly, went on the radio this morning proclaiming its virtues.

MODESTO BEE EDITOR MARK VASCHE HAS HIS SUBPOENA QUASHED AT SABATINO TRIAL SPARING HIMSELF THE NECESSITY TO PLEAD THE FIFTH AMENDMENT

After three years of publishing the fairy tale blather about Mayor Sabatino, Mark Vasche refused to come to court.

Mark Vasche made himself an integral part of the prosecution team and yet had the audacity to tell the court he knew nothing about the Sabatino charges.  It would be good, right, and salutary for Mr.Vasche to begin retraction of the vicious and ugly statements made against our former Mayor.

It is sad when a once proud newspaper now must engage in gutter politics in order to survive economically.
